Rob Read is the Founder of Bison Fire Protection Inc. He has been in the fire protection industry since 1991 growing from refilling fire extinguishers to owning Bison Fire Protection and finally selling to Onyx-Fire in 2023. 

He is a past director for The Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce, MB Chapter of the Canadian Fire Alarm Assn. (CFAA), is the past president of the MB Fire Extinguishing Equipment Assn. (MFEEA), and previously served on The Wpg Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. 

Rob has done many educational presentations to Authorities, and associations related to the fire protection industry. He has hosted "Into The Fire" a YouTube show highlighting business experiences. 

Rob began snowmobiling in the mid 70's spending countless hours with a wrench in hand and quick comment ready for launch. 

Steve has been an avid snowmobile enthusiast since the mid 70's. He learned how to repair sleds in his Dads unheated garage. He comes from an era of if you didn't fix it yourself you didn't go riding.

Graduating from Red River College with his CET he has taken his mechanical abilities and his electronic capabilities to the next level spending years racing in a variety of classes finally settling into the Modified class.

After his racing days Steve opened Performance Supply repairing all types of snowmobiles. Nothing is turned away.

His current personal fleet of snowmobiles sits at 18.
